How this actually works

I don't hand you a strategy document I wrote in advance.

I interview you deeply about your business, your experience, what's worked and what hasn't, and the questions you're wrestling with now. Then I synthesise everything — things you know but haven't yet articulated — into clear strategic frameworks you can actually use. Simply put, it's your wisdom, organised.

This is what my clients mean when they say it feels like therapy. We excavate what's there. We find the thread. We build from that.

For established businesses ready to reconnect

You'll probably come to me thinking you want to work on communication. And we will. But before we communicate, we need to return to the foundations.

You can't find the right thread to express your brand. Sales have plateaued. There may be a disconnect — not just in how you communicate externally, but internally too, between teams or departments.

These are signs it's time to go back to what matters: business objectives, values, mission, vision. The work is deep, structured, and often brings teams closer together — not just through strategy, but through the process itself.

Strategic clarity isn't a quick-return investment. It compounds over months as your decisions become sharper and your positioning becomes clearer.

Working together has a side effect you'll find with any good consultant: you'll have a lot of work after our sessions. If you're deep in the weeds of building operations, you won't have the bandwidth to attend to what we create together.

About me, Anne V Mühlethaler.

17 years at Christian Louboutin — from shop assistant to general manager to the brand's first SVP of Global Communications.

Following that, seven years as an independent communications and business advisor, working with founders of luxury and design brands. And then Le Trente — a social learning studio at the intersection of mindfulness, story and authentic expression.

She is a certified mindfulness meditation teacher (MMTCP with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield), a trained life coach (Martha Beck's Wayfinder programme), and has studied nonviolent communication, somatic awareness, contemplative psychotherapy and narrative.

She is also the creator of the Story of You methodology — a framework working at the intersection of identity, belief systems and professional communication.

Investment

Engagements typically run between 3 and 9 months, depending on scope and objectives. Investment starts at $3,000.

I work internationally and invoices in USD, EUR or CHF.
