A weekly newsletter and audio experience, and the place where I go to make sense of the world, and to explore it through other people's eyes.

The Mettā View is my longstanding newsletter, where I think out loud, and in public, about story, identity, the inner life of doing meaningful work — weaving together the threads that connect who we are to how we communicate, and make it resonate.

I write for people who are deeply curious about the world, who aren't content with the status quo, who want to do good and believe that depth of meaning and genuine connection are possible (and desirable) at work, and in life. People who want to make a difference, whatever their means.

You'll often find me exploring the strategy that underpins how we show up, communicate, and connect, to create impact and resonance with the people we care about. All of it through what I call a mindful lens.

And yes — it's for you even if mindfulness isn't a word you'd normally use to describe yourself.

Each edition weaves together original essays, curated ideas from varied sources whose perspective has nourished or surprised me, guided meditations, and spoken-word reflections. Sundays, mostly. It arrives, and you open it when you're ready.

It's also where I share everything about Story of You — the workshops, the methodology, the thinking behind it — alongside news about upcoming gatherings, masterclasses, and conversations across Le Trente and Out of the Clouds.

The Mettā View is (also) the storytelling heart of Le Trente, the social learning studio I founded in Geneva. But it begins here, between you and me.

Let me use this metaphor to paint a picture:

Think of the Mettā View as a grand facade with varied windows, doors, and balconies even. My essays are one way in. The curated digest is another. The interviews, the meditations, the conversations, each one a different opening.

With each, I bring a particular point of view. You get to peer into each of these, see if you want to explore any of these perspectives further. The only way to know if it's for you is to sign up.

Essays from The Mettā View also appear in the Writing section of this site, alongside pieces written for Out of the Clouds and other contexts — organised by theme rather than origin, so you can follow a thread of thinking wherever it leads.
